- If terminal blocks are located under RCDs (e.g. F1, F2, F3), these are assigned (synchronously) to terminal bar X1, X2, X3.
- If terminal blocks are only under RCBOs or MCBs (e.g. F0.1, F0.2, F0.3), these are assigned (in sync) to terminal bar X0.1, X0.2, X0.3.
- Terminal blocks under power supply units are numbered in sync with the power supply unit’s equipment ID (e.g.: as X-T1, X-T2, …)
- Terminal blocks in KNX lines are numbered in ascending order as X-KNX1, X-KNX2
- Terminal blocks in other bus systems are labelled with numbers in ascending order as X-BUS1, X-BUS2, …
- The remaining terminal blocks (usually free terminal blocks in the extra-low voltage section or under ‘Other control devices’, e.g. binary inputs) are assigned the next most suitable free X code. This is done by rounding to full tens (e.g. X10, X20) to get some distance to existing terminal strips.
Automatic numbering of terminal bars
Terminal Bars in Terminal Blocks can also be assigned automatically.
Automatically assigned terminal bars are based on the following scheme:
