- All devices from the wiring diagram are transferred and displayed in the list in the left-hand window. You can simply drag and drop them onto the workspace. A 0.5 modules grid helps here for quick, clear plans. The devices can of course be moved around on the work surface, and several devices can also be selected and then moved at once using a frame. You can find more information about mouse control here.
- You can configure the size of the enclosure as you wish. The diagram of the distribution will be automatically adjusted to the sheet size. Of course, the size can also be changed afterwards. Our recommendation is to always start with a larger diagram. This gives you enough space to move the devices back and forth. Once you are happy with the layout, adjust the enclosure size to the required size.
- Simultaneous placement of connected devices: If you drag (for example) an RCD onto the workspace, you will be offered to place all associated protection devices as well. Similar functions with similar devices (for example switch actuators, blinds actuators, etc.)
- You can use ‘separators’ where terminal blocks are continuous (or not). This will affect the editing functions.
- Wider terminal blocks continue automatically in the following line
- If several devices are set at once, they will also take the separators into account (and continue in the following line)
- Dragging & dropping devices takes the activated separators into account
- You can correct the modules and the size of individual devices directly in the enclosure layout (via the small “Edit” button) that appears when you select the devices. Double-clicking on devices will also open the editing dialogue.
- Required modules of terminal blocks are assigned an automatic size. The following will be taken into account:
- The number of wires and the cable cross-section (double-decker terminals where usual/possible)
- Feed-in terminals for N busbars (from 5 terminals)
- General terminal holder / labelling field for the terminal bar
- A detailed description of the size calculation can be found here.
- You can create your own placeholders in any size. This allows you to reserve space for terminal blocks or a media bay, for example. Notes can also be placed anywhere on the diagram.
